Sadly, I cannot give 0 stars. Lincoln Animal Hospital has gone downhill completely since Dr. Ali left and a company took over, and my experience with the new management has been horrible. Communication became sloppy, professionalism is lacking, and everything feels like a business transaction instead of genuine veterinary care. There were multiple times I felt taken advantage of. During appointments, they would try to sell their own preventatives, suggesting anything else was “less effective.” When I asked to combine vaccine appointments to avoid repeated exam fees/ visits, I was met with excuses that didn’t make sense. Prices were also raised without any notice. They will not honour quotes, and you'll often come to a surprise updated quote on the day of, where your bill could cost anything between A and Z for the same procedure, because they'll add things to it. You often have to insist on certain things (like saying no or asking multiple times), which only adds to the frustration. The worst experience was recently with my senior dog’s liver health. His liver enzyme was mildly elevated (around 120) and I was told to do a 3-month treatment. At the end of that, after he needed an emergency visit at another clinic, his levels were found to be four times higher, which the clinic recommended a medication. Considering my dog was already being treated at Lincoln we asked the clinic to send them the results. Instead, they recommended me doing another round of tests, including a “geriatric panel” that costs $300 and a Ultrasound ($1,200). During the blood test, we found out that not only Lincoln had the files but completely missed the extra blood panel that was sent but turned out the geriatric panel would add nothing useful compared to a normal blood test. Then came the ultrasound I was told a sample could be taken if a mass was found. Only later we found that from the staff that the Dr. did not feel comfortable taking a sample but later discovered that the person they use for ultrasounds doesn't conduct sampling, which was never disclosed. Meaning I paid at least $1,500 for a procedure that that could only tell me if there was a mass and the size. To make it worse, the paperwork I had to sign already listed “suspected neoplasia” (cancer) with the only consideration being an elevated liver enzyme, and even required me to authorize CPR, which felt unnecessary and disturbing. To note, there was also no cost disclosed to require an authorization. During the procedure, I got a phone call during work hours that dumped information on me: my dog had a mass, it could be nothing or cancer, and I needed to decide by the next day (because of course, they need to make a "referral" and is always time sensitive) whether to spend thousands more on a $3k scan, $300 X-ray, and possibly a $5–10k invasive surgery. It was a completely cold, rushed, and panic-inducing conversation. When I went to pick up my dog, the vet who called didn’t even bother to speak to me — I got an update from a technician instead. In the end, I went for a second opinion where I got more information that ALT elevation alone does not mean cancer or anything really concerning, many dogs have higher values with no problem, and surgery wasn’t recommended (regardless of the type of mass) for a 12-year-old who was otherwise healthy. Sure enough, a month later my dog is still perfectly fine. This made it painfully clear that the stress, pressure, and huge costs at Lincoln were unnecessary and avoidable. I left Lincoln feeling robbed, pressured, and completely mistreated. Their oversight of records, lack of transparency, and total absence of empathy were unprofessional and unacceptable. What should have been compassionate care turned into one of the most stressful and frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with a vet. Never coming back and won't ever recommend.

The doctors and staff at Lincoln animal hospital have been so helpful with my cats treatments over the years. She's quite stressed at the clinic and they all work slowly with her to make sure she is at ease. I'm also happy that they have registered technicians at this hospital which not all hospitals have. Thank you guys!!

I had my two cats treated here, and had a wonderful experience. Everyone at this Animal Hospital are friendly, kind, and professional. They spend time talking with you to learn about your pet, thoroughly explain to you about your pet's conditions and the cares they need, and make sure all your questions and concerns are well taken care of. I learned so much from them about my cats' health. I highly recommend them!
