My pup Allie absolutely loves coming here! Kara does an amazing job handstripping her wiry coat. We have been coming here ever since the puppy splash package that got Allie familiar to the process. She’s not easy to handle but the team here takes really great care of her. Highly recommend Good Dog and how well they communicate throughout the process!

We have taken our new puppy to the Good Dog of Port Coquitlam a few times now and are super happy with the result and treatment each time! We did the puppy splash package to introduce our Shih Tzu to grooming and he was totally comfortable with the whole experience. Our groomer Sara, was really informative and did an exceptional job! We wanted to take a moment to recognize and appreciate the Good Dog team and their services. We’ve been customers since 2022, and our dog is Poki. This week, due to some recent behavioural issues we wanted to address, the staff members arranged and offered us a complimentary reassessment visit. We were impressed by the staff’s caring and thorough approach. They listened attentively to our needs, provided recommendations, and helped us contact the vet to get the updated vaccination information. They even connected us to their professional trainer in case we need further training. Yesterday, we dropped Poki off for the reassessment. The staff member first consulted with us to figure out the issues we were having. Later that afternoon, we received a call from the staff member, who provided us with Poki’s reassessment report. This allowed us to stay updated on his progress. The staff members also uploaded a couple of Poki’s photos on their social media, which we could easily find and see. He seemed happy and well-behaved during the visit. Overall, we wanted to express our gratitude to the Good Dog team and their staff for their exceptional services and care for Poki. We will definitely be returning to their dog daycare and boarding centre in the future! We highly recommend Good Dog to other dog owners.

To say my Labradoodle is the light of my life is an understatement. Jet is a beautiful, resilient ball of energy — equal parts opinionated and emotional. Grooms used to make her so sad that she’d literally hide and sulk in the corner for days afterward. It broke my heart to see my usually vibrant, people-loving dog so deflated. That all changed when we found Sam and the incredible team at Good Dog. They treat Jet with such genuine care, respect, and dignity that her tail now wags in anticipation of a groom! Last year, after Jet underwent two TPLO surgeries, her grooming needs became especially sensitive. Sam’s team handled her with extraordinary patience and compassion, helping us feel supported and confident as her pet parents. When Sam transitioned to a new role, she even took the time to personally introduce us to Kara — thoughtfully matching Jet with someone who would suit her personality and needs perfectly. Kara has been every bit as wonderful. Jet continues to look gorgeous and truly thrives under the care of Sam, Kara, and the entire Good Dog family. We’ve been coming here for eight years for both grooms and daycare, and honestly, we can’t imagine going anywhere else. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our family through so many transitions, phases and experiences ❤️ . We're grateful to have you on our team!
