Shannon and her property management team have been the best heartwarming individuals to work with. With being transferred to Maryland from Florida, First Julie Kelley assisted me in finding a rental through her best colleague with me having my pets, from this point Shannon helped in a time of need when things were being delivered the day before my move she worked with her maintenance team in getting my items placed in the garage until my move in the next day. Shannon is very heartfelt and makes you feel welcomed and like family working her has been the best experience in my life, I could not ask for a more heartwarming property manager!!!

I’ve reached out to this company multiple times over the past few months and have found their communication to be extremely poor. Their listing agents rarely respond or follow up, which makes it very difficult for prospective renters to even schedule a showing. It’s also concerning that their rental criteria appear to make it nearly impossible for many qualified applicants to be considered. While all property management companies are required to provide equal housing opportunities, this company’s high credit score requirements and rigid policies seem to discourage fair access to housing. For instance, I’ve been interested in the same property since July, and it’s now October. Despite my repeated efforts, I’ve never received a proper response or opportunity to view it. Instead, the property has been sitting vacant for months—listed, relisted, and even had the price lowered—rather than being offered to qualified applicants who meet fair housing standards. Based on my experience, this company does not demonstrate a genuine commitment to equal housing or responsive communication. I would not recommend McKenna & Vane Property Management to renters seeking fairness, accessibility, and professionalism.

This company which I have used for many years is managing my three rental properties in Maryland very efficiently while I live in another state. The Owner's and Tenant's Portal are a very good tool to communicate and taking care of business. I highly recommend this company if you have rental properties and don't want the hassle of managing these properties yourself.
