This school is an absolute disgrace. From day one it’s been nothing but chaos, disorganization, and complete disregard for students. I’ve already gone through THREE instructors, and now I’m waiting on a FOURTH because they can’t even manage to keep staff. That alone should tell you how bad this place is run. The communication is non-existent. Half the time we don’t even know if class is happening, and nobody bothers to update us. It’s like they expect us to throw away our time and money while they scramble behind the scenes. Bullying? They don’t care. They sweep it under the rug and pretend it never happened. There’s zero accountability and zero professionalism. This welding program cost $20,000 and it is NOT worth even a fraction of that. The shop is garbage. Equipment is broken, outdated, or missing. You’re expected to “learn” on junk tools that don’t even work right. And let’s talk about safety — the eyewash station has been expired since 2022 and it’s now 2025. That’s not just lazy, that’s dangerous and shows exactly how little they care about students. I feel cheated, disrespected, and like I’ve wasted 9 months of my life and $20,000 on this trash program. I don’t feel like I’ve learned enough about welding to walk away confident in my skills, and that is the bare minimum you should get from a program like this. They sold me a dream and delivered a nightmare. Save yourself the time, money, and stress. This school is a scam, a joke, and a complete waste. If you’re considering it, DON’T. You will regret it just like I do.

This place is horrible for a college/post secondary institution. They lie about getting a job, and they teach the bare minimum. If you are thinking of getting into this school don’t. You can spend 30 thousand dollars better somewhere else. Please don’t waste your money like I did and everyone else. A lot of company’s won’t hire grads from academy canada anyway from what I’ve been told because of the lack of knowledge you leave with

A kind of crappy school that is over priced. I would recommend the College of the North Atlantic over this place any day. All the care about here is taking your money.
