We adopted our dog Tala after she was fostered and trained by Brent at Ace Dog Training, and we truly cannot express how grateful we are for the incredible transformation he made possible. When Brent found Tala, she was in a heartbreaking situation—essentially feral and abandoned by the side of a highway, just days away from being euthanized. Thanks to Brent’s dedication and expertise, she not only got a second chance at life, but she became the most well-behaved and gentle dog we’ve ever met. Tala is a Husky-Samoyed mix, and from the moment we brought her home, it was clear she had been given an amazing foundation. She walks like a dream—both on and off leash—has zero reactivity, and greets every person and animal she encounters with calm friendliness. She’s completely potty and crate trained, follows commands effortlessly, and doesn’t jump or vocalize unnecessarily. She’s also wonderfully affectionate and incredibly food motivated, which makes bonding with her a joy. What amazes us most is how Brent managed to shape her behavior so thoughtfully without dulling her spirit. Tala still has all the bright, clever, loving traits that make her such a unique and special companion. She’s seamlessly become part of our family, and we truly can’t imagine life without her. Brent is nothing short of a miracle worker, and we wholeheartedly recommend Ace Dog Training to anyone looking to adopt or train a dog with kindness, skill, and heart. Thank you, Brent, for giving Tala—and us—such a beautiful new beginning.

Our 2 yr old Aussie was a handful, pulled on the leash, jumped on everyone and even gotten into fights at daycare. After 3 weeks with Brent, our Aussie came back calmer, obedient and overall a better dog. He's still very much himself, very playful with that Aussie sense of humor, just very aware of his own behavior. Brent is a god-sent. If I could give him 10 stars I would. THANKS BRENT!

Brent is phenomenal! My dog, Millie, has transformed into a well-behaved and confident companion thanks to his expert guidance. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and cares about the dogs he works with. The results have been outstanding—Millie now walks beautifully on a leash, follows commands reliably, and is much more social and calm in new environments. The training sessions were engaging and effective, and Brent provided excellent tips and resources for continuing Millie’s progress at home.

We adopted our one-and-a-half-year-old puppy dog, Finnigan, from our local shelter. He had the usual shelter dog issues- separation anxiety, a bit barky, terrible on the leash, etc. Before we brought him home for good, we chose to use Ace Dog Training to give him the best start in our home and with our family. It was the best decision we've ever made! Brent (owner and trainer) had him for three weeks and he brought back a very happy, confident, well-trained, and polite pup. Finn is our 17-year-old son's dog and after a few days, I realized that he (son) wasn't doing everything Brent showed him to do before and while on a walk with Finn, so I contacted Brent and he was back at our house within days! He spent about 45 minutes (one-on-one) out on a walk with Finn and my son and showed him each step again. He was very patient with him (my son, as the fault was not with Finn, but rather my son not following instructions). My son now walks Finn exactly as Brent instructed and they have a ton more fun on their daily walks. Brent also brought Finn back fully crate trained (hallelujah!) and with his crate-only toys, he happily chills in his crate when we're not home without whining or howling (this has been verified by many neighbors). I truly can't recommend Ace Dog Training more for anyone who wants a happy and relaxing home with a furry friend by their side. Brent is super friendly, professional, kind, and most importantly- he's a natural with dogs. I especially love that he sent videos and pictures while training and the free return training visits are an AMAZING perk that makes his services even more worth it! Thank you for everything Brent!!
