I had a horrible experience at arabella carrefour laval. i bought a 10k solid gold chain and a 10k solid gold pendant in december 2024. After 5 months of buying those items the clasp on my necklace was defective. Not only did i pay 300$ for this necklace but they didnt tell me that the 1 year guarantee did not include defective clasps. I work in a jewlery store myself and defects like a malfunctioning clasps is within the guarantee because it is not the customers fault but the item in question. I had to drive all the way to laval (which i only do a few times a year because it is far from where i live) to get a replacement i hoped for the defective item. But upon arrival i am told that a defective clasp is not requirements for a malfunction of my item therefore it is not under the 1 year guarantee. So then i get told i have to pay 23$ for a repair and it would take up to only 1 week. So i pay it. Then after a week i receive no news. I then call and they let me know they will contact me when its ready quite rudely too. After 12 days i finally get a call back. They tell me that my chain was sent back to the store with a note on it that said that they cant fix the clasp so i need to purchase a new one. This service cost 80-90$. I then have to wait another week to get my chain back so (3 weeks total) and pay the difference once i go pick it up. This is ridiculous i feel extorted i wish i could speak to a manager but this stand only has one working employee per day and im utterly insulted and dissatisfied. They shouldn’t have kept me waiting i should've gotten all this information while purchasing my necklace and i should've been aware of the 80$ replacement service before sending it for repairs 3 weeks ago. This place is disorganized and the employees are rude on the phone. I find it unfortunate because i liked their items but it is not worth the headache and scamming of it all. I dont recommend. 0/10
