Miriam Vale peters was not up to the standard of my case unfortunetaly. There was two wills, primary and limited proprety will which she could not interprete. I had to see another lawyer for his expertise in this field. Fiscality, taxes is not her strongest field. She missed a few things in my case which I had to remind her a few times. I felt that this firm is only business and not friendly at all. The coaching was always speedy and of course, my language is french. I speak english but understanding all the law terminology was difficult. I thought at first that it would be fine with the language but it was not the case. A bilingual lawyer would have been proper for my case. I felt sometimes that she was not working for my case, more for the other side. All the errors that were done in the proposal documents were mostly blamed on me and lots of the time, they forgot to put important details. I did work on the Québec side with lawyers but it wasn't the way they worked. More human. Finaly, Miriam is a good lawyer in small cases but not with Corporation, Fiscality, Taxes and understanding wills. It was quite a big case but I should have made a proper choice and she should have explained to me that she couldn't take my case.
