I visited this salon for the first time today — and it will definitely be my last. The staff here seem to have full freedom to make up prices and services as they go, or they simply have no idea what they’re offering. I booked a hair treatment directly with the front desk based on what’s shown on their website. The receptionist told me it was a “high-end treatment,” not just a simple hair mask. She said a basic mask is $25, while this advanced treatment costs between $100–$125 and takes about 1.5 hours. When I arrived, my stylist confirmed the price was around $100 (Version 1). About 30 minutes later, she told me that the real treatment shown online is actually different — it’s $150 and takes 2.5 hours (Version 2). I was shocked. A few minutes later, she said because my hair is “too thick,” she would “only charge me $125” (Version 3). She washed off the mask soon after, and I thought the nightmare was over. Then at checkout, another staff member charged me $165 + tax! Apparently, applying the mask, blow-drying, and straightening cost $150, and the “free trim” suddenly became an extra $15. First my hair was “too hard,” now it’s “too long”? My hair isn’t even long — any shorter and I’d be bald! When I questioned the price, one of them told me I didn’t understand “what the point” was, while the stylist acted like nothing happened and that I was the one causing trouble. The prices here change by the minute, and no one takes responsibility. Absolutely not recommended.
If there was a 0 star I would put it for the customer service , (not all of them) Went in for my daughters one to have a haircut plus “mise en plis” the lady who did my daughters hair Mariane first said why mise en plis she’s only 9 I said because I want too plus she wants too for her first day of school she said no I’m like okayyyy what’s going on then my daughter showed a picture of what she wants (she has long her until down her bum) which was still long with long layers she just chopped it more than half of it and nothing like the pictures she kept saying if it was my daughter I would do carré..I said but she’s not ! My daughter went home crying … My other daughter had tangling hair that I couldn’t do it Sabrina tried her best doing it she was really nice she did some but didn’t finish all she gave me another appointment in their other salon so she can finish and give her a haircut When it was time to pay they charged me about 30$ for detangling I didn’t expect them to charge me I was gona tip her anyways I went to the other salon trend by Sonia they recharge me for detangling plus a hair cut 70 dollars for a 6 year old…..super disappointed it cost me for both salon one hair cut and one detangling and haircut 130$ for one that didn’t even like her hair too If u insist of going just ask for Sabrina she was super nice and trend by Sonia Josée was also amazing
Christina at the reception was very kind, The service was great, and the hairstylist who did my haircut was professional I really liked!
