While that may be technically allowed, it felt disappointing and frankly unethical to lose money for services that were never rendered. As someone with experience in this industry—and who has been required to refund clients in similar cases—I know that fair practice matters, especially in California. I’d strongly recommend reading their refund policy carefully before booking, and being fully aware that even if you receive zero service, you may still lose part of your money. Customer service isn’t just about policies. It’s about integrity. I canceled one scheduled lesson in advance due to my dog injuring his paw. I didn’t receive any training services. Updated: Their refund policy only offers 75% back, which they described as a “courtesy.” I accepted it, but I want future clients to know: if you cancel—even for a valid reason—you may still lose 25% of your payment, even if no training takes place. The refund was issued without dispute, which I appreciate. But the framing of it as going above and beyond didn’t sit right with me, and I felt it was important to clarify the facts for others considering this business.

We were trying to read the advertisement on the window they have taped and one of the dogs ran up to us noticing us reading it. The trainer flipped us off after the dog broke concentration. Maybe don’t put your advertisement news or menu if you don’t want dogs to go see whoever is reading it
