I've been taking my dog here for 7 years and had mostly great experiences. Unfortunately in 2023 they were bought by a private equity firm. Prices and staff turnover have gone noticeably up. The doctors seems more rushed now. They referred me to an expensive specialist owned by the same private equity firm without disclosing that. The doctors and staff are still great but if you are looking for a new vet I would try to find one locally owned.

I love we can text and they are great at squeezing our dogs in on an emergency. They text the next day to find out how are pets are doing. Been with them for all our pets since 2003.

A few months ago my 4 year old unfixed female kitty got a uterine infection. I felt so guilty like a bad kitty mama. Dr. Abbey and her team were so compassionate, didn’t shame me as I did myself, and got straight to work on a plan for my girl. Immediate antibiotics and a plan for spay surgery the following week. I’ll forever be grateful to Dr. Abbey and the staff at Canyon for being so supportive in such a stressful time for our kitty and our family.
