We are so thankful for the care and expertise we have received from Oakcrossing over the years. We utilized their overnight in home dog sitting in the past to help care for our senior pup Jimmy who had medical needs, we can’t say enough positive things about this experience and how at ease we felt during this time. When we made the decision to bring our current puppy, Gary, into our home after Jimmy passed away we knew we could trust Oakcrossing to meet his needs. We have regularly used the dog walking/visits for Gary and have been really happy with the service. Oakcrossing is reliable and responsive and sends the best (and most thorough) updates following each visit (including photos)! After working in dog care for 5 years myself, I’m very selective about who I leave my dog with. It’s important to me that I know my dog is safe and in the hands of people who understand dogs and dog behaviour. During my intake with Oakcrossing they asked a lot of very important questions about my dog that I felt were paramount to ensuring his safety while he was in their care. Renee and her team have a thorough means of communication and you get a little report card after every visit letting you know how it went. As a bonus to my dogs adorable report card, they take really great photos of him. It’s nice to know he’s taken care of while I’m working and most importantly I know he is safe. Having an insured dog walker is a lot more important than people realize!! Renee and her team are insured. Very happy with the service and I know my dog is too.
