My staff and I always enjoy the outstanding experience of working and staying at the Sheraton in St. John’s. Exceptional service from start to finish! A heartfelt thank you to the lovely Catering and Sales Manager, Kathleen Dominie, for her meticulous attention to detail, responsiveness, and professionalism throughout the planning and execution of our event — her dedication ensured the entire experience was seamless and successful. Sincere thanks to Kirk from the banquet staff for checking in on us and providing exemplary assistance on the day of our event, and to the welcoming Shaine Pineda for exceptional follow-up and professionalism. As always, Dave Maunder from Encore offered kind and accommodating support, ensuring we were tech-ready for our seminar. Overall, the sales and banquet teams demonstrated outstanding organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail, making the experience seamless and successful. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at the Sheraton for their excellent support and service.

This was our second stay at the Sheraton Hotel, St. John’s, NL & each time, we could not ask for better accommodations The staff are exceptional! Brenda, Guest Services, and Ashley, Reception, warmly welcomed us back & they were extremely helpful in addressing our many questions regarding tours, places of interest and, of course, the many amenities that the hotel offers. We were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of our room which overlooked the harbour. We also enjoyed the amenities of the restaurant, Bivver, and the Club Lounge. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the popular areas & local attractions of downtown. We highly recommend the Sheraton Hotel, and we look forward to our next visit to St. John’s, NL!

Check in was very easy along with an upgraded room with a view of the harbour. The room was clean, spacious and the bed the usual Marriott comfort. The hotel is located close to signal hill, the battery and Quidi Vidi - all walkable for able bodied folks. The walk into downtown St John's (George St & Water Streets) is an easy 10-15 minutes. If looking for a quaint breakfast/lunch spot try the Battery Cafe about a 5 minute walk away.

I won’t give one star but would have given 5. When I booked parking rate was $15 and even when I checked in 24 hours before they confirmed parking was $15. When I checked out it was double. They agreed it was $15 but since raised their rates. Are to kidding? I’m a loyal Platinum member and stayed here several times over the years. And you don’t honour pricing that we both agreed to when I reserved? Front desk didn’t care and agreed was misleading. To prevent this simply stay at the other Marriott locations close by.
