Update / Response to owner (posted 2026-01-28): This response actually confirms the core problem. 1. You openly admit “the part is obsolete and no longer manufactured”. As a professional shop owner, you know the likelihood of a customer finding such a part is extremely low. Telling a non-professional customer to “find it and we’ll reimburse” is not a solution — it’s passing the problem back to the person you caused harm to. 2. Even if the part were available, asking the customer to do the sourcing for a component lost by your technician is unacceptable. Fixing your own mistake is your responsibility, not free labor for the customer. The many hours I spent emailing, calling, and visiting your shop — compounded by staff turnover and lack of internal handover — were entirely caused by this issue. 3. Staffing shortages and busy seasons are internal business problems, not excuses. Customer loyalty is built by resolving the problems you create before taking on more work — not by explaining why you didn’t have time. You did not refuse responsibility — but you also did not meaningfully resolve the damage caused. That is why this review stands. Original review (posted 2026-01-27): Very poor experience. During a tire change in early May 2025, their technician lost a center cap bolt from my rim. This was acknowledged, and I was told they would take care of sourcing a replacement. Months passed with no resolution. Despite providing a sample bolt to help them identify the part, the issue was never fixed. In the end, Carlo (the owner) claimed he had spent time “searching online,” yet the responsibility was quietly shifted to me to find the part myself. I eventually had to retrieve my own sample bolt and solve the problem on my own — after 5+ months of delays. Mistakes happen. Refusing to take responsibility for them is unacceptable. I would not trust this shop to stand behind their work.

The front desk team (Susan and John) is very nice and well organized. The engineering team is great too. I have never had any issues with their work. The price is very reasonable. I like their shuttle service and the way how they share diagnostic detsils with the clients (detsiled email + video + follow up call). I recommend Sil's Auto Care Center without any reservation.
