I had a shower/bathtub with a severe clog and I called Gauthier plumbing for help. Mr . Gauthier patiently listened to my issue and then recommended I try a commercially available clog remover. I purchased the clog remover from a local hardware supply store and followed Mr. Gauthier directions for its application. He asked me to try the procedure and call him in the morning before he came to my home. I am happy to report it worked. Mr. Gauthier is a honest man who doesn’t take advantage of another persons misfortune. I would not hesitate to call or hire Gauthier Plumbing in the future. Thank you, Mr. Gauthier

Hi everyone, I was recently at a plumbing supply store today on the Hamilton mountain. I was in line to purchase a "longated" toilet seat for my handicapped brother, Sean... I was next in line behind a gentleman and I think he may have overheard that I was trying to purchase this, "I guess, special type of seat and that the toilet was for my brother who is a paraplegic" and the friendly staff at the supplier helped me in finding one at their store. When I was in line, an absolute gentleman infront of me turned around, and looked at the product in my hands. He asked me, "longated"? I said yes, I think so (as I am not a plumber, just going off by will and hoping the seat works for my Brother Sean) He asked to see the product in my hand, I gave it to him... he said put that back on the shelf. I got one in my work truck for you. I asked this man, what do you charge for it? He looked me dead in the eyes and said, NOTHING! I was absolutely beside myself and I hate taking things from people without repaying them... he refused any money from me as the seat was about $80.00! I tried offering him money and he refused. He had the toilet seat, lid, fasteners, in a brand new wrapped sleeve. To top it off! It was the EXACT model of toilet seat I needed for my disabled brother. I was absolutely floored and touched by this man's gesture, kindness and goodwill. His name is Tom. Turns out, Tom is the owner of this company and I can't thank him enough. Alot of people are going through tough times right now and this man stepped in to help ME.... Out of all people. I believe God placed Tom in my path today and he was a blessing. I called Tom Gauthier (no relation) to have him remove a broken shower faucet and replace it with a new one. When I described the problem, he instead gave me advice on how to fix it myself at no cost. I must have spent more than half an hour on the phone with him, including sending pictures of my broken faucet. He told me how to get the part I need for free and what to look out for when I did the work. He could have easily charged me to install the new fixture that I did not need. Tom will always be my first call for any plumbing work I need done.

Like the situation below, mentioned by Brian, I called to get a quote for a sink replacement and Tom of Gauthier instead provided me with advice and suggestions to allow me to do the work myself. Amazing service and support for someone who wasn't even a client yet! I couldn't recommend this Plumbing company any more highly. Next time any plumbing work needs to be done in my home, Gauthier will be my first call.
