Everything from booking to moving day was seamless. Communication was clear, prices were transparent, and there were no hidden fees. The movers were professional and respectful, even when dealing with narrow hallways and a tricky staircase. They kept their positive attitude the entire time and finished earlier than expected.

I personally have had a terrible experience with this inadequate moving company. They subcontracted a third party moving company to move my locker contents to my residence on July 3rd. Even though specific details about the items ( weight and size) were discussed at length the two men were incapable of handling any part of this simple move. A neighbour/ friend even had to help lift a very expensive cabinet because the assistant mover could not lift it at all! I watched them inefficiently and slowly move my contents into a first floor easy access apartment building. They did not complete even 50% of the move! The truck they arrived in was far too small! They still wanted to charge me full price in spite of their deficiencies! If you’re looking for a competent moving company look elsewhere! Hands down the worst movers l have ever hired. I recently moved from Montreal to Laval, and Get Movers exceeded my expectations. Marc and Jean were punctual, friendly, and took extra care with my breakables. They also helped me disassemble and reassemble some large furniture without hesitation. Really pleased with their service!

Like some of the previous reviews, my move was a nightmare. I booked my move 3 months in advance and they promised on several occasions they would be on time. I have several email confirmations. Yet they were 3 hours late. Two of the three movers were definitely untrained and unprofessional. They actually refused to transport my furniture to my new location unless I paid in full. Lots of drama and delays! They damaged a wall clock and patio table. They even left my furniture in the pouring rain. Again, they promised to replace or compensate for the damage. Never did. Ignored emails, text messages and calls. I honestly believe the 5 star ratings are fake generated or paid reviews. I can go on and on but my best advice is to stay clear of GetMovers and go with a local reputable company. GetMovers can GetLost!!!
