» Customer Experiences:
This is the third time we have used Heritage Law Offices for the sale and purchase of our properties since 2018 (six transactions altogether). James and his stuff have been wonderful. They make you feel comfortable and at easy. More important, they are very knowledge in their dealings. We are very happy with their services!!!
Heritage Law was great to work with for the recent sale of our house and buying another home! Right after the first phone call, they promptly emailed me a list of their fees, which they stuck to and which were very reasonable! Everyone there was friendly and helpful and got back to us right away anytime that we called with a question. Nadine, a legal assistant, was very diligent in making sure all of the necessary documents were obtained and in order, and in keeping me up to date with the process, and answering all our questions along the way! James was very easy to talk to and explained everything fully when we met in person to sign all the paperwork! Highly recommend!
My husband and I have been through a number of real estate transactions so thought we knew what to expect as far as lawyers. Our usual lawyers were unable to work with us due to scheduling and recommended Heritage Law. From beginning to end they were difficult to communicate with, unclear, and were committed to providing the minimal service with the same price tag. We had to correct them on documents and ask repeatedly for answers on any questions including when our finalization documents would be available, sometimes with no response. This was by phone or email. Our purchase closed end of June, according to land titles they processed the information mid August and it wasn't until mid October we received the mail copy of the information (including our title that we hadn't received at all thus far). It was mid August when we requested even electronic copies of the financial documents alone which should have been available shortly after closing. Physical copies of documents are not apparently something they usually send, including the RPR. The in-person experience was friendly but rushed. Parking was absolutely trash. The lawyer we worked with had no problem bragging about their work volume for real estate alone, but with the complete lack of expertise or even ability to keep track of paperwork I wouldn't have been able to guess. We will not be working with Heritage for any future issues up to and including real estate. Personally, we would recommend anyone considering working with them to find someone else. These people are not the experts and if you've never been through a transaction before you won't even know what questions to ask to get the information you need.
