We just bought a Toto Aquia IV toilet and bidet seat along with two bathroom electrical outlets from HPPH and had it installed by them. We are very happy with the results. The gentleman, Mike Lee, who did the estimate was obliging to our every request and gave us a very competitive quote. He secured the services of Ricardo from Studderts Electrical who did a great job in making a new line back to our electrical panel and worked so neatly that nothing needed repainting. The two plumbers, Marshall and Cory, were courteous as they worked carefully on making sure that all options on the bidet seat worked perfectly. There was a lot more work to getting everything installed correctly than I had imagined. Kudos to Mike and his entire team ay Hyde Park Plumbing and Heating.

I generally have liked these guys and we did use them in the past and were satisfied with their service. Recently, we hired them for a set of drainage issues. For the first, they had intentionally snaked the toilet in the basement instead of the cleanout I had specifically shown them. I repeatedly told them to use the cleanout, yet they claimed that 'access would be easier downstairs'. They went down there, and had to remove a toilet, and then remove a door, and then left a massive mess of mud with their boots before leaving. While snaking, "hey we need to do this a 4th time as the snake keeps going down the wrong way". So why didn't they use the cleanout??? To charge more $ is my guess. At another location, they didn't reopen the cold water valve for the washing machine (but left the hot water closed). We ended up paying an appliance repairman $150 to reopen that valve. The tenants and property owner had been complaining to me a whole week as to why the washing machine wasn't working properly. We had used Hyde Park Plumbing for larger scale work in the past however I don't recommend them for drainage-related issues. They seem to be arguing the invoice charges, despite these concerns, and we were never notified of the additional charges like after hours, an 'eel' ($250) for one invoice but not the other - it doesn't make any sense.

I usually DIY but whenever I am overwhelmed with a project, I procrastinate. I’ve left it for a year and finally called the guys who rescue my marriage. Polite, qualified and more importantly considerate with respect to treatment of our home. They made minimal mess and immediately cleaned it up afterwards. I’ve been using them since 2002 because I appreciate the excellent price to quality ratio! They just installed this tub and faucet through high end tile and as you can see….clean, straight, inflexible and most importantly, working as designed. Great job!
