Had a great experience as a first time client at Queen's Shop Salon- the vibe is totally great! clean and organized, has a board of what services they have offering transparency for clients. Catherine my hair dresser, had a consultation with me at the beginning, we discussed what could be done to be hair still trying to make what I wanted somewhat real, considering the history of my hair. I was there for quite some time but Catherine was attentive, checking, making sure everything was okay with the process, we got to know each other & laughed.. the experience was great, I was trusting Catherine with my hair and she did great!.. my bill did go over my budget but it was worth the change of look & I am content with the results!... If you are looking for a great salon with great customer service, attentive staff, clean & people who do a good job, this is your place!! I love who they are, what they offer, they are really there for their clients and their customer satisfaction is their key tool <3 thanks Queen's Shop Fine Hairdressing Inc.

Update - Requested callback, didn't receive one until 5 days later, was told they're too busy for calls and I should respond to emails for a touchup. What touchup? My hair was cut too short! Disappointed with the response. 2 weeks - the bang length is somewhat closer to what I originally wanted, and it's still choppy, blunt, and overall does not look great. I have been going to this salon for 5-ish years, have had good experiences with Alicia and Suvi. I booked a fringe cut and thought I would just go with the first available stylist, which was Catherine. It was cut way too short and not well. I showed multiple photos and was clear about the length/style I wanted. I showed a picture explicitly saying "this is too short". Catherine advised she would start long and then trim up as needed. The very first cut was too short. She asked about the length and I said it's fine, please don't go shorter. She continued cutting and asked a second time for feedback, and honestly they looked awful. She had attempted to make them longer at the sides but it was uneven and chunky. I asked for them to just be the same length. In the end, it was straight but very short, shorter than what I showed her in the photo. I said they were too short, and she was dismissive saying "well it's not any shorter from the first cut". What happened to starting long?? I didn't want to get into a debate, and was short on time, so I just left thinking I would get used to the length and it would grow back soon enough. Unfortunately that hasn't been the case. I've also noticed the left and right sides blending into the rest of my hair are not matched.

Absolutely amazing experience . First time at this salon and I had a dilemma with getting the right hair color. Catherine and the owner of the salon were so patient taking the time to explain to me the process that would be best for me . It worked out and looked even better than I imagined. Catherine did a great job and love my color and beautiful cut . Will definitely go back
