I did the 2 day beginner course and loved it - Cat was a fantastic instructor and the presentations are really good. Group sizes are small (max of 8) so it's very interactive, and there's a nice mix of theory and practical work. I would recommend attending in person rather than online.

The Complete Foundation Course has been brilliant and I’m sure will be very useful for my job and I’ve already started experimenting/practising personally. I think the course was well structured, covering all the basics with plenty of time to get used to the fundamentals of photography. I liked the range of topics covered, and thought it was great that you also touched on post-production on the final day. The examples and “case studies” of different artists we explored in each presentation really helped with grasping the theoretical concepts. The sessions were clear and delivered well, making it easy to understand for a beginner, and the teacher (Holger) was very encouraging.

I finished the beginner course this weekend and had a lovely experience. I came into the course barely knowing how to turn a camera on/off and left the weekend feeling like I can actually take a decent photo! I don't consider myself as someone very creative or "artistic" so I hesitated to book a course for months after buying a camera.
