Customer experiences
We were in town for the U15 Boys AAA Soccer Nationals, from the first call with Mike who owns the diner I knew we were in good hands. Being a team of 26 individuals, and 20 of them teens, we knew we should cater meals in rather than try and go to restaurants. Mike was patient and kind and provided us with our own menu to keep within our budget and understanding dietary needs of the players. We had five meals catered by the diner, and every meal was exceptional. from pick up to packaging and to taste it was flawless. I would highly recommend this diner for any catering needs. Thanks Mike and Team!
Great little diner, first place we stopped to eat at in PEI, we did have to wait a while for a server to sit us even though it didn't seem that busy. The food was very quick to arrive, and we got three breakfast plates and a steak sandwich. The breakfast plates were very good, unfortunately the sandwich was pretty dry as it had very little cheese and absolutely no sauce or au jus to go with it. They provided HP steak sauce for the sandwich but I'm not very fond of the flavor. Luckily I asked for gravy which was poured over the fries, so I scraped up what I could to moisten the steak. The waitresses were fairly nice, we did get constant coffee refills, but no water refills. Long line to pay for food as there is a constant stream of people coming in just to get a coffee and to-go pastry. Overall not bad for the price and food, I would recommend.
Delicious and reasonably priced breakfast. They were packed but service was still relatively quick. Eggs were runny as expected and well buttered. Bacon and ham was tasty. I was excited for the sausage as it had a pretty unique size as far as breakfast sausages go, but unfortunately it was a bit disappointing. The temperature was on point, but it seems the sausage's farce itself had been undersalted/underseasoned and had a bit too fine ground a texture. Small complaint in scope of the whole experience. Would definitely come back to try a lunch or dinner special if I end up back in PEI. Reminds me of the Route 99 diner back in my hometown.
Delicious food! It's a very busy little place. We stopped here twice while we were in PEI. The first time was for lunch and the second time was for breakfast. Both were very tasty.
Maid Marian's Diner is a diner.
