Dina was fantastic with our 1;1 in-home session with our 12 week old corgi puppy! We learned so much and feel much more confident in raising a pup to live in NYC! Really personable and approachable and kind teacher (for both the owners and the dogs!!) - Blended foundation puppy training and breed specific knowledge - tailored to our pup and home. Definitely recommend - especially as new pet owners in NYC.

Mindful Pups is amazing. This is my first Google review -- Dina is that impressive! And this is our family's first dog and so we have a lot to learn, both puppy and people. Thankfully, Dina's deep knowledge of dog development--and her skill as an educator--arrived just in time. She came into our home, bringing a training leash, treats, a flirt pole and many years of experience. Not only did she introduce us to concrete strategies we could use immediately, she also gave us a framework for understanding what motivates our puppy's behavior and how to effectively develop her confidence and choice-making. She followed-up our session with a detailed list of notes, including descriptions of activities, videos, and a variety of toys along with a rationale for when and why to use them. She also generously responded to clarifying questions after our first session. We're eager for additional training once our 3-month-old puppy is fully vaccinated and ready for more of Dina's magic.
