Was it the girls first day or what. We got a cat that kept on coming to our backyard that had ticks and fleas and when she came to get the cat the dumb lady somehow let the cat go and the cat ran away. Then proceeded to lecture my mom on trapping cats. Horrible horrible service. If you need help with anything animal related find a different company. If I could rate lower I would rate -10000000000000. You guys were not a help at all.

October 29th 2024 - A million gazillion stars for Dan & Josh (and everyone involved), for their SUPER EXCEPTIONAL work ethic, for their professionalism, and for their such timely & prompt initiatives to help wildlife situations. I had a skunk situation (which was over 20 hours, now that I checked my cameras). At the 18th hour I called Animal Services Ajax & spoke to Josh. He asked me some necessary protocol questions to determine if my situation falls under the criteria to send help or not. Being polite & knowledgeable, Josh explained everything well in regards to their criteria, and provided other help options too. While I waited for the decision phone call, I decided to also call couple of Private Wildlife Control businesses in Pickering as well, who could've easily charged me $250-$300. I was massively disappointed, as they all straight up refused to come or to deal with the unusual skunk situation I was facing!?! I felt HELPLESS!!! It was right there & then, to my biggest delightful surprise, I got a call from Dan from Ajax Animal Services. He didn't promise anything over the phone, but needed to further assess the situation in person, so he drove down to take a peak. Dan turned out to be the knight in the shining armour, especially when EVERYONE ELSE had refused to help. Dan assessed the situation, took the initiative, and with great care all wrapped up, the skunk was moved into his cage. Dan was kind, calm, helpful & professional throughout. And above all, he refused to accept any kind of monetary gratitude in the end. It's these little things, which truly are the big things, making big differences in the world. It's people like Dan & Josh, who take their work as their passion to make a difference in the world. God bless you guys & everyone in your dapertment. A BIG THANK YOU!!!

My friend was visiting me from Scarborough this afternoon and as he was leaving he saw a loose dog with no collar or tags. Upon getting the dog on a leash he noticed that the dog was in some pain and he immediately called Ajax animal control services. They were on scene in less than 40 minutes and were very professional and they had genuine care for the dogs well-being. Thank God for my friend and his quick thinking and thank God for Ajax animal control services.

We rescued a wild bird(looked like a black bird) from the side walk as it was not able to fly and appeared like its leg was broken. We bought it home and called Ajax Animal services. within 30 mins we had an Officer visit our home and take the bird to the Vet. Awesome work by Ajax Animal service.
