We could not have done it without the S.B. Taylor team! When they say full service - they mean it. Our movers seamlessly navigated our move out of a busy street in downtown Portland. Every item they moved out of our place ended up exactly where we needed it to in our new home - we didn’t have to move a muscle. They went above and beyond to help tighten screws and add hardware to make our existing furniture more functional. Moving days tend to be stressful, but our team came in with such a positive attitude. They kept morale high all day by cracking jokes and telling stories. I could not recommend them more highly!

Communicative, timely, professional and friendly - great company to work with and would absolutely use them again. They came for an internal furniture rearrangement and to get some heavy furniture into our garage for a donation company to pick up - not every moving company would be willing to do a smaller job like this and they were great! Took one hour and six minutes and we were billed just for the time and transit needed, and they moved three big armoires, four night stands, four mattresses and two box springs and two rail bed frames, and a platform bed base. Super efficient, careful and courteous. I can see why this is such a well loved local company. Plus, when I called a week before with a question the owner picked up - not like a huge chain company where you end up talking to someone disconnected from the process!

Recently, I needed to help move family members from Massachusetts to Maine. I am beyond glad that I chose S.B. Taylor Transport. I knew they were unique because of something on their website, but this is a crew that takes what they do seriously. While we joked openly about the number of bookcases, they treated every piece of furniture with care, wrapping everything in blankets, and going so far as to use extra cardboard to wrap and protect tech. I was personally stunned at how quickly they were able to load and unload their impressive trailer, and at how friendly and personable each member of the crew was. (They had the trailer pretty much unloaded by the time I made it up to the new place the next day so they unloaded my car, too.) They made moving a much less challenging experience because of how much we knew we could trust them with everything. And that thing that caught my eye initially? If you're someone who needs to get out of a dangerous domestic situation, they'll help. Check out their website to see more. I was told that they'll go in the middle of the night and to pretty much anywhere to help someone. That says it all right there.

I have to say this is the MOST professional and reliable team of movers we have ever hired. Not to mention how personable, fun, and caring the team was about handling our belongings.
