Stacy is extremely thoughtful and knowledgeable about dog behavior issues. She spent a lot of time hearing about our concerns and figuring out the best plan to work with our Tulip. She is also incredibly honest and has impeccable integrity. Our dog had a sort of "niche" issue and she was willing to see if she could help but felt like he was perfect every time she worked with him so was limited in how she could respond to our worries. Stacy helped us with Vivian, our 7-month-old Border Collie rescue who had no prior training and a squirrel obsession that made walking her on the leash nearly impossible. Stacy gives off a very calm, confident, and grounded vibe which is exactly what we all needed. We chose to have Stacy take Viv on training walks without us because we were so frustrated that we needed a break. Those couple of hours a week made all the difference in teaching Viv some better habits and giving us some peace so we could be the patient dog parents we wanted to be. Stacy did "transfer sessions" to teach us and give us real-time feedback -- this was tremendously helpful. Stacy is a superb trainer who uses positive reinforcement methods that I feel worked well with my puppy. He is a high-energy breed and luckily we started training when he was 9 weeks old. Though there is much work going forward, he has learned the foundation of good canine manners that you can actually observe. I’m not sure what we would have done without Stacy’s help, as the puppy rearing process was quite challenging with him. I highly recommend Stacy’s services and her method of training.
