Administration has been very helpful and the security team is fantastic. Landscaping is quite nice during the spring and summer months. Can't wait to leave however! Prepare to have the fire alarms blaring about a hundred times a month. There always seems to be at least one elevator not working (I get it is an older building but it is super inconvenient). Privacy? Forget about it, the neighbours practically live in the hallway. Lots of construction throughout the year and you can hear every bit of it. Feels more like a retirement home than your typical apartment building.

This place horrible and is run by generally terrible people. There always seems to be a new rule concerning every facet of the complex. These rules are used to restrict services/amenities and charge you all kinds of extra fees. They have cameras throughout the building and they are constantly monitoring you. It is very creepy to be playing pool or working out and have a security guard downstairs talk to you about it. It feels as if you have no privacy. The culture of this place is highlighted by its administrators. You will have to deal with them every time you want to reserve something like a guest bedroom for a visiting family member. The rule is that these reservations have to be made with an administrator. This is fine, until you realize the administrators work about 4 hours a day. They come in late, take two hour lunches and leave two hours early. The place has some great spaces and great amenities. Unfortunately the way Park Mansions is run makes it a more frustrating experience than living somewhere should be. I would avoid living here.

due the old building, there are many problems related to the reconstruction of the units, as well as problems related to the building itself due to the wear and tear of the building, including water and sewage leaks, and unfortunately, no one is responsible. Water has been leaking from the ceiling of the bathroom for more than ten days. and after many calls and follow-up, only the plumber came and removed a part of the ceiling of the bathroom. Now, no one is responsible for how the residents of these units use the bathroom and toilet, even the suggestion of covering the ceiling temporarily with wood or cardboard. You have to wait at least a few days, and during the process of at least three weeks, the building is obliged to provide you with service, but not only they don't do it, but they don't even want to apologize.

Terrific place to live in. I've been here 17 years and haven't had any problems with anyone or anything, for that matter. Great, responsible board of directors, management office and all staff.

The Arista is a apartment building.
