I delivered my first baby here in 2024. We were both treated horribly. My infant left the hospital with 8% weight loss and horrible jaundice which was never discussed or treated. The doctor's and nurses disregarded all my concerns and treated me like a problem. There was only 1 nurse that was kind to me the stay. I was given multiple medications without being told what they were or an option to take them or not. We were supposed to receive donor milk to take home but it never came. I was given stitches without anesthetics because the doctor insisted I couldn't feel anything due to my epidural (which failed). A nurse did an exam with fake nails. One nurse told me I could refuse a 5th catheter from the doctor that refused to actually come see me and then another nurse chastised me and told me I have to listen to the doctor. I reported this all to KU via survey and informed my OB who said she reached out to the patient advocate but no one ever contacted me about my experience. No one should ever have a baby here.

Don't go here unless you have a morning appointment. Providers should be held accountable with showing up on time just as much as the patients. Its ridiculous to be told to show up 15 minutes early just for the provider to be an hour late.

I would give this a zero if it allowed. If you have a truck, don't bother coming here. There is one floor of parking, which is half handicap parking, that has above a 7ft clearance. It took me 45 minutes to get a spot

My coworker cut her hand on glass mid evening, and our nurse practitioner was FANTASTIC!! Lindsey was very kind and hospitable!!
