Not safe in my opinion. I felt i was being bullied to go to the bank and get cash. which was not my destination. I used the taxi app to order a cab this weekend have used this company and it is also yellow cabs before over a few years no issues. Had a very bad and scary experience. I selected pay in cab on app because we dont give our financial info on apps. This is my personal view, opinion and impression of what happened. Driver came and I got in told them where I wanted to go across edmonton about a half hour away. He drove to corner of my road then stopped. He said after do you have cash. I said no. I had debit card. He said something about computer issues. I had a debit card. He said I will drive to your bank you will get cash out. I said no. He seemed angry and annoyed and wanted to drive me to bank I said no. He looked upset and said we will figure something out. I asked to go back to my house He didn't want to I was getting concerned and he wouldn't do this. I said I wanted to end ride he was no. I opened car door and walked home. And he backed up was infront of my house for a bit and then left. I called cab company right away and gave number of cab and was told that the debit machine in his car was fine. I concerned this would happened to an elderly person who felt intimidated. Why he insisted on cash and taking be off the route that was logged on taxi app was concerning. I asked to speak to supervisor or manager was told none in on the weekend but there would be a video and it would be reviewed by a manager on this Monday. Phoned this Monday afternoon and it incident had not been reviewed ir video watched and listened too even though it could been a risk for safety for individuals. I talked with day supervisor on monday told same concern. I asked if they had talked to driver or looked at video. No he said and they had not reviewed video or talked to driver. Women, volunerable populations and elderly do not use yellow cab or edmonton cab in my opinion they do not have good protocols for customer safety. Recently The company has left request for email contact below but I leave this review until I am called back as promised when first reported this incidence. They have my name contact, cab number time and cab request with address for pick up was recorded on the app and no promised review. they stated the company has a video with sound to watch. I contact three times and spoke to appropriate persons and still no review or call back.

Indian dude comes late 20 mins. No options to cancel, no options to reach the driver or anyone else. Comes and blames the customer for calling late. Called at 6 15 pm for a cab for 6 45 pm. Comes at 7 08 and goes you called late. Never argue with Albertans. Cancel and reorder again. Let folks know but some of us don't have many choices. Transit is even slower and you have to leave like 2 hours before and you still some how get late. No idea what folks get paid for here or for what reasons. Usually it's just the regular blame game stuff they do here, never met such lazy no good folks in my life that are useless. Most of em are in charge of management so they can favor each other by removing reviews and other stuff.

Their new calling system that takes you 2 minutes to order a cab is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous and then when you need to get through to customer service The AI doesn't let you! If your yellow cabin you're reading this, Go back to the old system!
