Petland Tulsa

Adopted this beautiful girl here , So my full experience was I pretty much didnt go in there planning to get a dog but we started to look around and my daughter wanted to look at the puppies. So we decided to look at a Golden Retriever puppy. I went home to talk to my husband we came back the next day and the girl that worked there the day before named Natalie that had helped me knew immediately why we were there and asked merely if she needed to go get her (the golden we adopted) so of course she did. While we were in the process of adopting our Golden alot of the staff came by and told us they were happy that we were adopting her and genuinely could see they really do care about the puppies in there and want to see them all find homes . As for the other animals in there they all seemed pretty social , except one of the sets of birds but the staff seemed pretty knowledgeable and told me they were working with them as they were merely shy not aggressive. All and all a great experience and friendly staff!

DO. NOT. buy your dog from this profit obsessed businesses. Yes, I called it profit obsessed because that is what this place is. They do not care about their poor puppies they have or their lives considering their living conditions and sickness. Petland and the people that work for them are sick and money hungry. We walked in looking for a dog and we found one we have been in love with for so long, a cream mini dachshund. They told us she could not be sold due to her being peripherally blind. This was ok, as we agreed to sign consent forms in order to adopt her. The VET there came out and started negotiating with us about pricing. This was very odd to us. We went in just a little before closing time, and she then told us we had til the next morning at 11 am (less than 12 hours) to get approved, and make a decision if we wanted this dog otherwise she will be sent back to the breeder in which, if you know anything about petland she will be put down or live at a puppy mill. Obviously, that little of time wasn’t going to work for us. After keeping in contact for a couple days, we called to see if she was still there to which they told us no. We showed up out of being upset because after talking to one of the employees they led us to believe we still had until monday before she’d be shipped off. After walking in, they told us she was actually still there but we were unable to get her. We asked for the breeders information so we could try and contact them and work something out, (not even involving Petland) to which they REFUSED. Again, very odd to us. A certain couple of employees stood behind us and were laughing which was extremely unprofessional and rude considering the circumstances. I just wanted to write this review because I know that they feed off of trying to get people to write good reviews every time you walk in there so I want to let people know this is the truth and don’t support this business. There are so many local breeders you can go to. There is so much that I could expose about this place but today I wanted to share my personal story. I hope you’re okay sweet delilah.

Great selection of pets from dogs to cats to reptiles to birds to guinea pigs to ferrets to rabbits and hamsters. You can Tell the staff really appreciates their jobs and the animals. They're taking great care of them and have always been a pleasure to our family when coming in to pet the animals and loving on them. Look no further if you're looking for a great, tame loving pet for your family.
