Goodness, how do I not gush about this woman and her incredible gift with dogs AND humans. MJ is a master at assessing you and your dog’s unique situation and customizing solutions that work PLUS the ability to shift as the situation shifts along the way. She is patient, empathetic, non-judgmental, tenacious, creative, kind, educational, enthusiastic, professional, a great listener, and so much fun. We have shared many laughs and silly moments in the process. Her passion and knowledge are endless as is her energy. She will be you and your dog’s biggest cheerleader. If you’re looking to learn the basics of dog language or to work through a more challenging behavioural hurdle, she is your woman. I can’t imagine not having MJ in my and my puppy’s life - she is definitely part of our pack!

MJ did an amazing job helping us and Yogurt to understand each other. We’ve never had an anxious or aggressive dog before and were at our wits end. She has a great understanding of his psychology and signs and helped teach us techniques to calm him down and build trust. We’ve made a lot of progress in a very short time. Both Yogurt and LeeLoo absolutely love her. I’d recommend MJ to anyone with a challenging dog!

I recently added a new puppy to the mix, and my 3 year old dog was really struggling with the adjustment (he was quite reactive and I struggled integrating the dogs into the same space). After nearly two weeks of keeping the dogs almost exclusively separated, I contacted MJ and she was absolutely brilliant. She was able to explain the behaviour of my first dog and based off one video was able to offer me fantastic advice. Within 24 hours I was able to have the dogs together in a shared space for the first time, and things have only been getting better. Thank you so much MJ!!
