Posting this for my son who completed his Class A training at the Joliet location. All the instructors at the Joliet location were fantastic to be taught by. They were all there because they wanted to teach the new students, not to collect a check. They all try there hardest to make you a great driver. Al, Dave, Keith, John, Bill, Rich, and Steve were always a pleasure to learn from. No nonsense guys, gave straight answers. There is a mountain of information you have to absorb in a short amount of time, 160 hours is not enough to learn everything you will learn over a 20 year career, but they were all motivated to make sure you learn the corriculum and they even try to squeeze in some real world information. Special thanks to Marlo and Marsha! As well as a thank you to Joliet Junior College for letting us use the campus. Good luck on your journey if you pursue a career in transportation! Driving school 160 is amazing patient kind understanding with your life starting off with Steve the boss is great an understanding bill, Rick,Al, John all helped me out an worked with me one on one and gave me great tips to pass my driving test an skills on my first try definitely recommend to anyone who is a newbie an has no idea what there doing they will get you fully trained up an give you all the knowledge you need Thank You 🙌🏿

Great experience with an even better staff. I couldn’t have asked for any more than what was provided here at 160. Rich is the pre trip guru. John is great with parts. Al is a genius on teaching clutch control and skills. Dave and Keith are excellent on the road instructors. You could have zero experience and this team of instructors will have you feeling like a professional in no time. If you’re ever thinking of getting into the trucking field I would HIGHLY recommend training at 160 driving academy. It was truly an amazing experience.

My experience at 160 Driving Academy of Joliet was phenomenal. All the driving instructors were exceptional and had a great deal of knowledge and experience in the field. From learning parts, skills, in cab and the driving itself, they all did a great job at teaching us everything. They made sure we learned everything we had to in order to get our Class A CDL. 100% recommended!
