Enjoyed family dinner here. The MCK cocktail was incredible and loved the presentation. We had alot of fun with the steak enhancements as well. Will be back for sure!
1870 was absolutely fantastic! We made a reservation for the Speakeasy, the rest of the restaurant was booked, and we were so glad we did. We loved the atmosphere down there, it was so cozy. Started with the fresh bread and honey butter and knew from there we were in for a treat! We each had a signature cocktails, both were great. The Steak Tartare was perfection with the egg yolk and garlic aioli. The mussels were prepared with a delicious creamy sauce that we scraped from the bowl. My husband’s lamb was cooked perfectly and so was my filet. We tried 4 of the sides and each was delicious. Complementary to the wonderful dinner, our server was an absolute gem. Personable, very informative, and attentive yet gave us plenty of space. Everything was timed perfectly. 10/10 and we can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.
The one cocktail I had was delicious and the restaurant is so gorgeous! The quality of the food was no where I had expected for the price though. And I later woke up horribly sick assuming from the dinner I had eaten. The salmon was delicious at the time of eating it. The creamed spinach was a disappointment. My dinner guests steak was a disappointment. However I am grateful for the experience and to have food made for me in a lovely & aesthetically pleasing setting.
