Got Halo highlights done by Alanna and a lash lift and tint by Brenda today and it is all perfect ✨. Alanna gave me soft cool blonde hair for my summer palette. Brenda made my lashes look long and defined 😍 Everyone was so nice and did great work.

Paul did such an amazing job getting exactly what I was envisioning! He was able to turn my very dark thick hair so much lighter! He was also so knowledgeable with all the products that he recommended and super friendly! It was a great experience! Definitely ask for him when you book your next appointment!

I came in a week before my appointment for a consultation and gave a $300 max of what I could afford. Then when I went into my appointment, it went up to $425 but I figured maybe he was the best and I should give it a shot. By the time I left the salon chair, it was $475 (with the minimum tip $550) I felt tremendous pressure to just leave and try to get with the program. My hair has been fried as my hair was medium brown, and it was bright bright blonde when I left. I did not want blonde. I wanted neutral brown or dark blonde. I showed my stylist four photos of what I would be happy with, and I said very clearly that the easiest one (meaning the easiest to accomplish without damaging my hair) would be preferred. I went into the Rainbow Room and they explained to me that the bonds in my hair had been broken (That is very common when you bleach your hair too much) and I understand that people make mistakes and that is fine, but I don’t accept that I have been gaslit by the owner as well as the shop in Sechelt being told many excuses such as “this is what happens when you get old” or that “I’m making a big deal out of nothing”. I was also told by a woman in Sechelt that I just need to learn how to deal with my “new “ texture and that this is my hair for the rest of my life now and I need to spend a lot more money on their products to slather on to force the frizz and texture down . Kevin, the owner, told me he would give me two deep conditioning treatments “complementary“ to improve the condition of my hair, but when I asked for the second appointment (as promised) , he did not reply. I also have an undercut that I wanted done and I never got. I have never cried about my hair before and thought people that did were being a bit silly, but they are absolutely not. Since I got my hair done I have been upset every single day feeling that my beauty has been stripped away. I have long flowing gorgeous hair and the texture has turned dry and brittle and frizzy as ever. One of my big problems was that my stylist had taken me out of the chair on my second appointment, set me in perfect lighting and took a photo within less than a minute of being done styling it. I’m assuming he sent that to Kevin so the owner has evidence that I was being dramatic. Of course your hair looks good within less than 60 seconds after it is done. It does not look like that within a hour tho... I have to thank the Rainbow Room for helping me get the products I need to recover my hair. I’m very disappointed in how I’ve been treated by the 2545 salon, and I would like to have my money returned so that I can spend the money on products that I need to make my hair, shiny and healthy again. If this problem is made right, I will of course update my review. I expect a response depicting the picture 20 seconds after I got out of the salon chair saying that I am making most of this up. I hope that that’s not the case… I say this with all due respect with no hate to my stylist as people make mistakes and he was so kind and lovely. The owner is the one who is responsible and who is accountable.
