After 3 months of being with gym le local, i wasn't expecting this ! CARL is a very respectful and understanding person! its hard to describe what this gym has done for me ! i had a bad back injury and was scared to train anymore . Training here my pain is now going away and i feel much stronger than before ! A BIG SHOUT OUT TO MR L.P . I love his training sessions. He is always watching every student and making sure everyone is doing everything correctly . He really takes the time to explain things to you! and he really makes you give your 100% . A big thank you to gym LE LOCAL, i am very happy to find this place ! IF you want a serious gym where people are very respectful and are actually willing to help you ! this is the place for you!! Really happy I found this gem for my son. He’s been practicing BJJ for a year and a half now and I noticed huge improvement in his self confidence. The staff is friendly and the price is very reasonable compared to other BJJ gyms out there. This place has boxing, muy thai, group gym trainings and BJJ. Coach Carl is a BJJ world champ and knows what he’s talking about!

I travel around the world relatively often and I come to Montreal every so often. I train BJJ back home but since I travel, it’s hard to train consistently. Luckily while I was in Montreal, I found this gym when I just happened to pass by. People in the gym are incredibly friendly and the instructors (especially Karl) are approachable and extremely dedicated to ensuring that the class is a cordial place where you can learn some good BJJ and have a good workout. Overall, its a nice clean gym with showers, locker room and top of the line equipment that rivals any BJJ/MMA gym I’ve been to around the world. I highly recommend this place!
