Called about a 2010 Ram 2500. Pics looked great. Was told the truck was two owner and one of the cleanest trucks they’ve ever seen. Asked if there are any issues with body or interior before I drive to come see it. Was told it was in excellent condition in every way. Drove 1.5 hours to go see it to find a pig in lipstick. Complete lies. Thing was full of body filler, it was spray painted and had runs everywhere. I stepped in the box and my foot almost went through it. Only thing holding the box together was the bed liner. Drivers seat was duct taped together. It was completely covered in thick rust and scale underneath as if it had sat on a lawn or in a field for a few years. Back section of exhaust was totally missing. Tires were mismatched and worn out. A complete disaster. It had brand new fender liners and mud flaps installed. Had a few new front end components installed. Paint on rockers was still fresh and soft. All to draw attention away from the fact that this thing was scrap. Interior was heavily detailed but on closer inspection you could see how dirty the truck was before they cleaned it. The guy lied to me on the phone. He told me it was a trade in. Then he told me he hadn’t actually even looked inside the truck before. Just look at some of the photos I took. These people are the reason used car dealers have a bad reputation. They totally fit the stereotype. Scammers looking to make a quick buck on unsuspecting buyers. Not this time guys… you should be ashamed. When I called him out he started making excuses and apologizing over and over. Don’t trust these guys. Looked at a few of the other trucks on the lot, all similar. Very disappointing experience on every level. If I could leave less than one star I would. They wanted 30k and said it was not negotiable, lol. They also told me it was safetied on phone and when I showed up they said it would be safetied for when it’s sold. Purchased a 2016 Honda CRV Touring from this dealership. I have had it for two weeks now and I have had zero issues. The car is excellent and exactly as advertised. Joseph and Tom went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase by acknowledging any known defects and having them resolved prior to pick up (buffing some scratches, fixing lose trim moulding, finding a new antenna to replace the missing one and getting me new tires). 10/10 service, up front on cost, willing to negotiate and very patient. Would purchase here again in the future.
