I've been there and seen it all. However, I have some knowledge of plumbing and a better sense of what a reasonable quote should look like in terms of cost and quality. Highsmith & Daughters Plumbing stands out in both aspects. After my hot water pipe burst under the slab, I had over five companies come out to provide estimates. It was pretty amusing to see how often ignorance and dishonesty are so common in the industry. Then Matthew from Highsmith & Daughters came by, answered all my questions, and shortly after the visit, provided me with a very reasonable estimate. He's a professional and funny guy, one of the few who didn't try to sell me fear or nonsense. The project was completed quickly within one day. Even though the job turned out to be a little more complicated and required more time and effort, he stuck to the original quote and finished the job nicely. I will not hesitate to use them for any future plumbing projects and highly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation.

There’s a reason why they have 5-star reviews all across. They came next day to solve my non-emergency clogged kitchen sink issue. The technician Cole was very professional and even called to let me know he was on his way. I asked if he can remove his shoes before entering and he had booties ready to use. They emailed me an invoice and provided a summary of the problems found along with the completed work. I will only be calling Highsmith for my future plumbing issues.
