I did a 7-day safari with Karibu Safaris in Kenya and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I was able to customize the itinerary according to my interests and add a bike ride in Hell's Gate National Park which was a great experience. I went to Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli and got to see an amazing range of wildlife. The highlights were watching a cheetah hunt in Maasai Mara and watching scores of elephants parade in front of Mount Kilimanjaro at Amboseli. I also got to see many zebras, impalas, giraffes, wildebeest, lions, and more! My driver-guide Mike was absolutely incredible and made sure I was safe while showing me a rich array of wildlife. He is very knowledgeable and also a very kind person who cares about providing a high-quality experience. You will have a truly memorable experience with him as your guide. As a final note: ask to stay in Sopa lodges if you can. They are amazing, both in terms of quality accommodation and service.

We honestly did not know what to expect being our 1st time to the continent of Africa and Kenya, after this experience, i must say Kenya and the Maasai Mara National Park is breathtaking and Karibu Safari tour is definitely highly recommended. Castro is the best! He is well loved among the locals all along the entire journey, much respect! He spots a Cheetah miles away under a tree and constantly got us front row seat for wildlife spotting. Traveling for more than 6.5 hours per trip, you will definitely prefer a clean and comfortable vehicle. He drives a 4x4 Land Cruiser and warms up the car each morning and by the next day, the previous dust/thrash in the vehicle are swept clean for a new journey ahead. Vacation that we will never forget ! We have booked a 7 day tour - Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Hells gate, Amboseli. Our driver, Edward, was not only an amazing driver but he also provided us with very interesting facts and information about animals. Thanks to him, we have seen the Big Five on our first day directly and he was also trying to get us as close to animals as possible so that we can have the best view :-) The accomodation and food was nice (we were on the budget tour). It is impossible to describe the beauty of Kenyan landscape and animals, therefore I include some photos. We highly recommend this company !
