Recently visited Dick’s Sporting Goods and encountered an issue with their advertised pricing. A sign clearly stated that a particular item was on sale for $20, but at checkout, I was charged $26. There was no fine print or exclusions listed on the sign stating certain colors were more. Instead of honoring the advertised price or verifying the issue themselves, the staff made me go back to take photos. Even after showing clear proof, they didn’t adjust the price. The customer service was unhelpful and an unpleasant. This kind of inconsistent pricing is misleading and should be addressed. If in-store prices can’t be honored accurately, I’d recommend shopping online instead, where the pricing is at least clear and reliable.

Last night I went to the store to look for a specific color scheme of an owala water bottle. I looked all around the store and could not find it. I asked Jolene if she could assist me and check their inventory, not only did she go above and beyond by doing so but when she noticed it was not in stock she asked the manager when the next shipment would arrive. Through her kindness and hard work I was able to get my water bottle as the next shipment would arrive the next day. This morning I came to the store and could not find it in stock so I again asked a sales associate to assist me and Alex went upstairs, opened the boxes, and came with not only one but two bottles. The way the workers here at any time of day were willing to assist me and not brush me off to the side. They deserve all the praise and more.

They offer price match when it’s convenient but when you ask them to honor it all of sudden its only certain prices on certain products. They’ve price matched for me in the past but guess they didn’t want to bother to make it happen. There was also teenagers everywhere with no walkie talkies to radio management, so I had to wait till the manager decided to come to the register to deny the price match.
