I have to say, this is by far the best pharmacy I have ever visited. The service, knowledge, efficiency, and willingness to help are unmatched. I have been here a few times before just for prescription fills - great service and quick turnaround, but I didn’t think much beyond that. However, my recent experience truly stood out when I brought my kids here for different health concerns. Shawn was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything in detail in a way that was easy to understand. My son had the flu, and last night, I went to Shoppers and Walmart looking for guidance. All they told me was to give him Advil and Tylenol or go to the emergency room. When I specifically asked about Tamiflu, as recommended by other medical professionals, I was shocked by the inconsistent and inaccurate responses. One Shoppers pharmacist told me it was only for patients 13 and older, when in fact, even a 1-year-old can take it with the right dosage. Another Shoppers location told me they didn’t have it and that it must be prescribed by a doctor - when in reality, a qualified pharmacist can prescribe it. I knew this for a fact because the same pharmacist had prescribed medications for us before! It was frustrating to receive such misleading information. Fortunately, we came to see Shawn today. Once he tested and determined the flu type, he provided the appropriate medication right away, explaining the possible side effects and instructions clearly. Also, while waiting for the test results, I noticed that the same box of Tylenol I bought at Shoppers last night for $11.99 was only $8.99 here - 33% cheaper! This pharmacy truly prioritizes patient care over profit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for professional, reliable service.

Shawn, Dennis and Kevin are amazing pharmacists and they all have demonstrated their knowledge on medications and dosing on multiple occasions. I am a health professional myself with four university degrees, and I would confidently refer my friends and family to their pharmacy. For example, when I was searching for a medication that was discontinued in Canada, they were able to quickly explain the situation to me, and offer a comparable alternative medication to use that would be covered by my insurance - awesome! Previously I would go to shoppers drug mart nearby, but occasionally I would be assisted by a staff member that was not helpful or lacked knowledge in a specific area. Over the past few years I naturally transitioned to Access Pharmacy for all my pharmacy needs due to their reliable advice, kind staff, and their consistent and excellent customer service. On a few occasions when I am running late from work to pick up my medications, they even go beyond their duty by offering delivery or staying a few extra minutes to allow me to pick up my meds. I have witnessed them being fluent in multiple languages, and always greeting everyone in a friendly way. I can't say enough good things about this pharmacy, never had a bad experience!
