I’m sharing my experience to help others avoid the same mistake. I hired Stuart (owner & sole operator) to repair a conservatory window frame and sill. He said he was a skilled finish carpenter with over 40 yrs experience & is capable of completing the job as discussed. The completed work did not match the original design or the agreement, including a frame and sill cut to the wrong size, a center support piece that was not replaced as promised(it was cut & poorly patched-see pics) & indoor grade composite sills installed without approval. The 2 windows are noticeably different, they stick out further than the other 7 windows (see last pic of example shown to Stuart). sent messages & emails to Stuart offering an opportunity to correct the work, but received no response. I had to hire another contractor to remove and redo the entire job, their price was much more reasonable & they did a perfect job. I would not recommend them for any carpentry or detailed home repairs based on my experience.

Stuart is great. One of the best handymen in the area in my opinion. He works very fast and quality is great. In addition, the price he charges is very reasonable. He replaced a few pieces of my siding as well as a few other windows frames in less than a day. I am very happy about that. I got a few other repairs and am looking forward to Stuart fixing them.

Stuart has been a pleasure to work with; he communicates well and does good work at a fair price. He properly repaired my corner drywall, and fixed the vinyl floor under the connector strip without my asking. I look forward to having him do more work around the house.
