During our city exploration in Tampa we came across here and we had some continental food … food was above average in taste, quantity was fair, service was above average and staff was polite. Mocktails were not up to the mark.. this is a small roadside food joint offering liquor and hookah too.. they have inside and outside sitting arrangements… they are pet friendly

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Acropolis Greek Taverna in Ybor City with the renowned Latin American comedian, Luis Chataing, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is a perfect blend of traditional Greek elements and modern touches, creating a cozy yet lively environment. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Each dish was a delightful journey through Greek cuisine, bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the grilled octopus, clams, and lamb, all of which were cooked to perfection. If you’re craving authentic Greek food, look no further—Acropolis Greek Taverna is the place to be! From the moment you step in, the lively atmosphere transports you straight to Greece. The whole experience was incredible, with traditional Greek music, a talented belly dancer, and the exciting breaking of plates and napkins flying through the air. It truly felt like we were part of a festive celebration. On top of the vibrant ambiance, the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and added to the overall charm of the evening. My boyfriend and I were so impressed with everything—from the food to the energy of the place—that we came back the very next day. If you’re looking for amazing Greek cuisine paired with an unforgettable experience, Acropolis is a must-visit!

First time visiting the restaurant, staff provided a Great service, food was super delicious. We tried the Stuffed Mushrooms, Octopus, the Acropolis Seafood and the Lamb Lollipop, everything we tried was delicious. Will come back soon to try their hummus. Sangria was so good. 200% recommend.
