Unisha LindsayTo customers who would like to buy a car from Fred Auto Sale. PLEASE DONT DO IT! You will regret it. He didn’t get a safety done as promised, to then find the seatbelt weren’t even installed in the vehicle. He sold us a crap car, saying the car was worth WAY more than it actually is. Soon as we got the car there were major issues right away! We tried contacting him about the issues and he just avoided us and wouldn’t give a clear answer. Took him so many days with the car to end keeping the car and giving us our money back. In all honesty, he is a scammer & will rip you off as quick as he can. He will definitely try and use sweet words, but don’t listen to it. This guy is no good! At the end of it we wasted so much time. Save your time and efforts go somewhere else!!!
Justin LapointeFred met me after hours because I was from out of town. I was buying a wheel chair accessible van and The body on it was worse than I thought. Fred offered me a fair price for the van that I was happy with considering it needed a lot of extra work. He said he that he Was happy to help someone out who needed this van. He even check the fluids for me and assured it drove good knowing that I would be driving it down the 401. I bought the vehicle as is. I am very happy with the experience I had and again I want to say thank you to Fred.
jessie rootDO NOT TRUST FRED’S AUTO SALES – SERIOUS SAFETY AND SCAM CONCERNS I bought a car from Foad Srouji at Fred’s Auto Sales (51 Clarke Rd) and deeply regret it. He sold me a car with the check engine light on and told me it was “just a minor gas cap issue” that would be fixed the next week. That fix never happened. Worse, the car was dangerous to drive — it surged at red lights and almost caused accidents. I took it to a real mechanic and found out it had: • Worn tires • Faulty brakes • Bad struts • No working backup camera (which I was told was included and necessary for safety) Foad told me week after week that the backup camera had been ordered, but for FIVE months, I got nothing but excuses and lies. I spent thousands on this car only to find out it was a complete lemon that should have never passed safety. I’ve since discovered I’m far from the only one. Other reviews show people being sold unsafe vehicles, scammed on warranties, and lied to repeatedly. This isn’t a one-off — this is a pattern. Fred’s Auto Sales is not transparent, not honest, and not safe. If you value your money, your time, and most of all your safety — stay far away from this place.
