Customer experiences
Adam was referred to us by friends and we could not have had a better experience as first time home buyers. Adam is very knowledgeable, professional, and reliable. We felt comfortable throughout the entirety of the process as Adam had our best interest on the forefront of his mind. If he saw issues with a property, he was a straight shooter and didn't try to sell you on a situation that he didn't view as the right fit. We will be recommending Adam to anyone in need of his service and are glad we found him!
Great realtor, finds homes that work for the buyer and doesn’t try to push homes that won’t. Works hard to execute the whole process and make the experience of buying/selling as simple and seamless as it can be. When selling you want it done right and fast, so does he and he will try to do everything possible to get that house sold. I would refer Adam a million times over to any one looking at buying, selling or both, buying and selling.
We had been toying with the idea of moving from a two-story to a ranch for the last few years. Even to the point of looking at zero-entry homes. We were looking to see what that is out there could accommodate us as we age. We met Adam when we stopped to look at an open house that looked nice. He took us through the house and spoke highly of that plan and of the builder. He listened to our wants. That began a long courtship. Dennis was not ready to give up the house we built almost 30 years ago, and he had some specific wants. Adam offered to help us scour the market to see what was out there. This included new homes and existing homes. We had not entered into any formal agreement with Adam at this time. He was just willing to see that we could find something that met our needs. We did see that the company he represented had a couple plans that could work, just that we needed to find a building site. Adam also conducted some market analysis of our current home and offered a couple of ideas to make it more saleable. Once enough time went by and those projects were completed, we decided it was time to make the move. We were looking for someone that was honest with us about the current market conditions, what was available, who was willing to look at current housing inventory, was able to show us cost projections, and was a genuine nice guy. To be truthful, we did venture out and looked at other homes during this time and talked with many different realtors. While they may have done a good job for us, we thought Adam was the guy for us. We had spent quite a bit of time, exceeding a year, with Adam giving us a periodic call and offering to show us something that just came on the market. Adam’s ability to remain level-headed in our discussions and in his reactions to the many circumstances that happen in a home selling or home buying scenario was something that impressed me. He never tried to sugarcoat anything and was able to let us know of any hiccups or wonderful things that were happening. That makes for a nice working relationship. Advice to a person contemplating selling a home or purchasing one would include finding someone you feel you can trust, who is willing to listen to your wants and needs, and is able to provide answers (good or bad) to your questions. Another key point for someone wanting to sell a home is to have an agent that has contact with many other agents. This expands the pool of potential buyers.
When we decided to sell our house, we knew we needed more than just someone to list it. We needed someone who could guide us through the whole process, market it the right way, and get us the best outcome possible. That’s exactly why we chose Adam Bugbee. From day one, he made everything feel manageable by helping us set the right price, making the house look its best, and handling all the little details behind the scenes. The communication was constant, the advice was spot on, and he went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident every step of the way. If you’re thinking about selling, here’s my advice. Choose a realtor who treats your home sale like it’s their own. That’s what made all the difference for us and why we would recommend Adam Bugbee in a heartbeat.
