I’ve been a regular customer of Adonis Salon for over two years and hold a membership card that provides a 25% discount. Yesterday, I visited the Bashundhara branch for a haircut but forgot to bring the physical card. I requested the manager to verify my membership using my mobile number, but he refused and said it wasn't possible due to a new policy change by higher authority. I found this response disappointing and inconsistent — just a few days ago, a friend of mine received a discount without any membership card or prior visit, and recently my sister was also given a discount at the Adonia female branch without showing a card. So clearly, either the policy changes randomly, or it’s applied selectively, which is unacceptable. When I insisted I could proceed without the discount, I was still made to feel as if the manager was being unnecessarily difficult, despite recognizing me as a long-time customer. This inconsistency and lack of flexibility point to poor management and customer handling. I have recommended Adonis to many people in the past year, but this incident has made me reconsider continuing at this branch. The salon needs to have a clear, transparent, and consistently applied policy — not one that changes from person to person or day to day. I hope the higher authorities look into this issue seriously and ensure better customer service practices across all branches.
