Do not use these guys. I brought my computer in because it was running slow. 3 days later I come in to find, they wiped my entire computer clean resetting it back to factory default settings, just to give me my computer back and it’s still just as slow, then having to reinstall everything from OneDrive myself. I made them aware it’s still running slow, and they held onto it for another three days. When I come back they explain that it’s the battery. They took the old battery out and screwed the laptop back together with no battery in it so that it can work as long as it’s plugged in. They gave me a link to the dell website to order the battery and I’ll have to install it at home. Now two weeks later the battery arrived and I go to install it… can’t get my laptop open because they threaded two of the screws. I literally paid $175 for a membership, for them to do nothing except tell me it’s the battery, permanently wipe all the programs and docs off my laptop, and break the screws so now I have to forcibly break it open just to replace this thing. These guys are idiots. I would have been better off using you-tube right from the start.

They had me wait in line for 40 minutes to disappear in the back and come back and tell me that they didn’t have the part for my repair. Avoid coming here for your Apple products at all costs. This is not an apple experience. Go directly to an Apple Store if you have a choice. Waste of my time and gas. What’s more upsetting is the fact that they have appointments and you still have to wait. Almost an hour to get served to then be told they can’t help you. Absolutely ridiculous. Wish somebody had warned me.

The GeekSquad at Doral BestBuy did a fantastic job with our desktop and laptop repairs. The whole process was seamless, from scheduling our appointment, keeping us informed, to pick up. They clearly explained what they did and made sure everything was in good working order when we picked up our gadgets. Very courteous, professional, and patient. I feel the need of sharing what happened to me yesterday at this best buy Geek Squad. Since there was no appointment in an actual Apple Store I went ahead and schedule the appointment with them. I have an IPhone 8 plus which I bought less than 6 months ago, so it is still under factory warranty. When they inspect the phone the guy told me it has a water damage and since they are not water proof the only option I had was to get a new phone and pay $400, because water damage is not covered under the 1 year warranty with Apple. And that if I took the iPhone to an Apple store they will charge me the same $400. I was so pissed at them because how were they so sure that I took the phone under water? I left the store (and thank god I did) and took my phone to a T-Mobile store. They inspect the phone there again and the lady told me to take it to an Apple store because she didn't see any water damage to it. Long story short, once in Apple at Aventura mall, the super nice lady did the necessary tests and gave me a new phone because they couldn't find what was wrong with my phone and they replace it because it was covered under the warranty. PLEASE help me report this since I can see now that I am not the only one who have had an issue with these people.
