Overall a great experience. I got a great rate (3Yr closed 3.69% - previous lender was offering 4.24% Sept 23 renewal) and I appreciate the $300 hotel gift voucher. I approached Citadel just before my existing renewal and as a result had to role over my existing mortgage to an open at a high interest rate for a couple weeks to give time to get all the info and for the lender to close the deal. I was nervous about this but everything worked out as they said. Other than that it all seemed to go like clockwork. Greg Carlson, the broker i dealt with was always available and quick to answer questions and provide updates. A minor issue was i seemed to need to gather more info and were particular about proving certain documents that took a couple rounds and some time as compared to previous experiences. However, the the up side is that they are thorough so that if they are satisfied with the documentation then they are virtually certain that a lender will approve the mortgage application. The website document upload works well. I had left this to the last minute so it was a bit of a rush for everyone involved but it all worked out great. Again, overall a good experience and would recommend.
