Hi, I have been a long-term customer of Advanced Care Veterinary (almost 10 years) and am sad to be writing this review. I will no longer take my pets there. I scheduled my pets for a dental and it’s a 25 minute one-way drive from Tulsa to Advanced Care. We arrived first thing after receiving email and voicemail confirmations the night before only to be told we weren’t on the schedule and would have to reschedule. When I shared with the front desk that it was an Advanced Care mistake, she got aggressive and demanded I show her receipts of the voicemail and email confirmations and then continued to argue with me. It was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. When I called back to reschedule the dentals and asked for acupuncture, which Dr. Patton always does for my pets due to the long drive (vaccines too), she argued with me again that I would need to schedule two separate appointments as that is not best for the pets. After going back and forth, the appointment was scheduled, and I shared I would get their vaccinations from a local Tulsa vet. The last straw was my pets both had to have growths removed while being under anesthesia for the dentals that required stitches removal. I followed up to schedule an appointment per two weeks post surgery instructions, drove back out for the removal and noticed when we got home that my older dog’s stitches were not removed on his face or leg. I also provided feedback through their portal on these poor circumstances and received no feedback or follow-up. The vet never met with me at any of our follow-up appointments either. It’s just not the right fit for us anymore. Prices have also increased drastically since the new buildout, and I’m investing in a smaller vet clinic that provides better, personalized care and kindness/understanding and is much closer to home.

Great veterinary hospital. Good prices. Very friendly staff. They should have a show like Dr. Pol. My adult goat had an infection where we banded him with a California bander. Husband did it. After 4 weeks of being just fine with the band, he was slow and walking by swinging his leg wide (must have hurt back there), some crusted blood but wouldn't let me touch them to see around the band. Definitely sensitive--2 weeks earlier I could have done a Muhammad Ali on them without fazing him. Advance Care fixed him right up (antibiotics and pain reliever). Now he's back to his old ornery, nasty self (but slightly less nasty without his berries). He doesnt butt us like he used to but still deserves his name Butters (pic taken today, post treatment). Totally recommend Advanced Care.
