Van went over and above when what I thought was a simple gear service turned out to be a more serious problem with an old shifter. He was clear what the options were and helped me source replacement shifters on eBay which would be compatible with my set up, saving me from spending much more on multiple new parts. He did the work quickly, expertly and for a reasonable price - definitely our bike mechanic from now on!
