It was a year on June 2025, we had our garage pad redone June 2024 and I must say that I am not impressed. Al being a nice guy can only go so far as well as his competitive prices. My garage floor is a map of cracks going in every direction from end to end. Looks like a map of Route 66. Poor quality job regardless, be it from crappy concrete or from inexperienced staff. Regardless I would have gladly paid more to another company so that I don't have to see this floor and get pissed off every time I am in the garage. FYI the floor was replaced because it had 2 or 3 large cracks over 40 yrs. When my additions floor was being poured the entire garage floor was replaced. A 5 inch thick floor was poured throughout. Also worth noting is that no one even parked in the garage until Nov 2024.

My parents asked me to call Al's Atomic Construction for their services building a new deck. Initially I called other companies for a quote and let's just say the prices were not so friendly. They insisted I call Al's as they had seen them doing work in their neighborhood so eventually I called. Al himself came out right away the next day as he promised and gave us an honest fair quote. He was so very patient with my older parents as theu had lots of questions and concerns. He assured them the best service and yes they delivered. I had the pleasure of watching them work because I was on vacation for the most part The entire team that came out were respectful and worked quickly and efficiently, they took care of the neighbors property as well not cause damage. When we recommended our neighbors property for renovations we got a pretty good discount on a garage and walkway. We will always recommend Al's Atomic Construction to all who need concrete work done Let's not forget Vivian in the office her calm tone very polite and so patiently tried to answer the million questions we had 10/10 all across

The new driveway looks professionally done and well-finished. The surface has a consistent broom finish for good traction, and the edges are clean and straight. The caution tape and side forms show that the contractor is taking care to protect the concrete during curing. The slope towards the street appears smooth and even, which should help with drainage. Overall, it looks like a high-quality job with attention to detail. Thank you to the team for your excellent work!

I used the services from Al’s Atomic to have my driveway extended as well as a cement pathway to my gate to my the backyard. Great pricing and very responsive. I had reached out to 4 other companies for a quote and Al was the only one that took the time to come out to my home and discuss the requirements for my request. The other companies provided quotes over the phone based on pictures I had to send or from Google maps. Call me old fashioned but in person visit is something I preferred. Because of that and the more reasonable quote I received I went with Al’s company. Fast forward 1 year after and the workmanship has been tested over the winter and driveway extension and path still look great. My only reason for not providing a 5 star rating is that when the rebar was being cut to length, it was cut on top of my driveway leaving 3 scorch marks in several areas which I haven’t been able to remove. Something minor yes, but for someone that takes pride of their driveway it was a bit frustrating. Second, after the framing was removed, work was completed and the crew cleaned up and left, I picked up approximately 7-8 nails from the framing. 2 were at the end of my driveway that meets the road and the rest were in my front lawn scattered. The concern was more in the lines of if my lawnmower may have possibly gone over one of these nails and they are not small nails either. The 2 nails I found at the end of my driveway could have possibly punctured our vehicles tires as we drive out. All in all, I would still recommend Al’s company and I would use their services in the future if need be for another job.
