A beautiful library, very quaint and sweet and surrounded by touches of green. A great place to read, relax or focus on whatever you want. They also have a great kids section, with great Arabic books. The addition of the Resturant Forma Next door is great for that delicious coffee, a quick snack, or a proper delicious pizza. Really love this space.

I recently visited the Al Safa Art & Design Library, and it’s such a warm, inspiring space—perfect for reading, studying, or even casual meetings. I was able to book a study room for a few hours at a very reasonable rate. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to focus or unwind, this is definitely worth checking out!

Al Safa Art & Design Public Library is such an underrated gem for anyone looking for a quiet, inspiring place to work or read. The space is bright and open, with dedicated booths for meetings, private nooks for focus, and even a Mac zone (5 AED/hour). There’s also a room for workshops if you need a creative space for group work. One of my favorite touches is the free unlimited Arabic coffee and tea in the lobby — no questions asked. The curated shelves are filled with books on architecture, design, culture, and art, making it easy to find inspiration during the day. Free entry, friendly atmosphere, and long opening hours (except Saturdays) make it a go-to spot for remote work or studying. Highly recommended for creatives, freelancers, and anyone who enjoys a peaceful work environment
