Requested a few items be done in my home, like adding a plug and breaker in the panel for a coffee machine and adding a fan to a room that hadn't had a light. Brandon came in and was professional when he was quoting. He gave copies of his certificates and licenses which helped me feel comfortable supporting a small business. I gave the 50% deposit requested and he came in and completed 50% of the work. There were a couple of items where the hole was cut too large or damage done to the wall but small challenges in the scheme of things. The issue came when he asked for another installment to continue work. I asked for the invoice to be sent so I could pay through the online option as originally completed. He had challenges getting me an invoice that wasn't for the remainder of the invoice. He did get me one and I immediately paid and he let me know the funds weren't coming through from the company to him. The last I heard from him he was on the phone trying to get the funds released. He never responded again to me or my spouse and we ended up getting another electrical company in to finish the work. With wanting to support small businesses in our area, this was a very disappointing outcome. He did complete the work he was paid for and I had the other funds that were sent returned by the Visa company after 3 weeks with no responses. In AB there's supposed to be a special license a contractor has to get funds after the agreed on deposit and that wasn't as important to me as him talking to me about what was going on and completing the job. Hopefully things improve for him and he's able to complete his other jobs, but we wouldn't recommend him based on our experience.

Brandon came by our shop and provided an estimate after an electrical supplier sold us incorrect light bulbs. He was fast, professional, and ultimately helped us get a piece of mind for what needed to be done. He followed his quote up with detailed reasoning as to how his fix would work which was above and beyond other companies. I’d recommend Brandon to anyone looking for any kind of electrical work, he will be the first electrician I call next time I need one! Thanks Brandon for all of your efforts.
